EVERYONE CAN GRILL

Our mantra at Joey Mac is simple..."Sharing our passion for BBQ". 

I can't think of a better way to apply this mantra than teaching folks how to use their grill.  Some people just need a little coaching, others need only a touch of encouragement, some just need an outlet to share their own passion.  Anyway you look at it, a simple session with Joey Mac is a great way to learn a little about using your outdoor cooking device. 

We'll be offering several seminars this summer, focusing on the foods that you cook at home, and some foods that everyone wants to cook at home that might be intimidating.  Keep checking back here for updates on when and where we'll be holding these seminars. 

Our first event of the year is one of my absolute favorites.  We'll be teaching a course at Naper School's mini-course day.  Our class is Grilling with Joey Mac.  We take 4th and 5th graders for about 2.5 hours and give them the opportunity to cook chicken breasts on charcoal grill.  We cover food safety, fire safety, as well as how to brine and marinade chicken, construct your own rub, and make a very simple glaze for the chicken.   This year's session is at the end of April. 

We also offer a wonderful in-home experience.  Its a customized session of cooking with Joey Mac.  We work to plan out your meal, come home set up a demonstration area, cook lots of food, give lots of hands on practice, and sample lots of food.  This is a great party event and a great way to really have a great experience.  Last year we did this for a 40th birthday party.  Even though it drizzled through much of the session, it was "the best party I've been to".   Drop us a note at our contacts page to get more information...CONTACT JOEY MAC.
